My new obsession is a series called True Blood (Thanks for that Jo!). In this programme vampires live amongst humans since the development of synthetic blood, this means they don't need to drink from humans anymore so want to 'main stream' and have legal rights etc. There is discrimination against vampires, a new illegal drug on the market called 'V' (Vampires blood) and alot of weird vampire/human sex going on, the humans get nicknamed 'fang bangers'. It's quite dark and weird, check out the link, even the opening credits are unusual and strange!

i have been following your site for a bit now. i have to just tell you this is one of my favorties HBO shows!!!! and i have read every book in the series to date the next one is out in Oct. anyways its nice to hear that others love this show as much as i do

Are the books called true blood? Might see if my library has any in for me to read whilst on my honeymoon. Nothing like reading about other romances when you are supposed to be on your own!!! :o)
the very first book is true blood than if you look in the back of the book it tells you the names of the rest i have been reading them for about a year now and for the life of me i cant remember the rest of the names i think the 2nd one is called dead in dallas or something like that. if you cant find them you tell me im in the states and i could always get you some cheap copies i am more than willing to hepl out a fellow reader!!!! by the way i love your site you crack me up sometimes. good luck with the wedding, i sure hope it goes just the way you planned it all.
